Community Outreach
In addition to our concerts, the Lapeer County Concert Choir reaches out into the community locally and to the surrounding area.
This year, the choir performed multiple times for the pre-game ceremonies of the Flint Firebirds Hockey Team.
Through our new Generations Connection opportunity, we invite musically accomplished and motivated high school students to be a part of our community choir.
Our Lapeer Choir Scholarship Fund is available to active members of the choir pursuing a college degree or technical school certification or to assist a local school age student to attend a summer music camp.
During December 2019 we provided musical support for the Annual Festival of Lights Celebration hosted by Stonegate Health Campus, our corporate sponsor.
